About
Me

I'm Tiana, an Austrian-Croatian tattoo artist based in Montreal, specializing in photorealism, painterly styles, and designs inspired by pop culture and art history. I’m especially drawn to technically challenging tattoos—whether it’s hyperrealism, expressive brushwork, or stylized motifs.

Before tattooing, I worked as a digital matte painter for major Netflix productions and VR games, and created 3D visuals for e-commerce clients on platforms like Amazon. I studied at the Gnomon School of VFX in Hollywood and trained in photography at the Graphische College in Vienna. My tattoo training includes Noble Art Montreal, along with a Bloodborne Pathogen certification.

I currently work and continue to train from my private home studio. The address is shared once your session is booked.

P.S. I also offer tarot readings upon request, free of charge—just let me know if you're curious.

As a tattoo artist, I often receive inquiries from clients regarding their tattoos, pricing or the process of booking an appointment. To help address these common queries, I have compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

How much will it cost?

I don’t charge per piece, per size, or per hour. I charge per day — $250. Whether I’m tattooing or designing, that day is dedicated entirely to you. The price is the same, and the time is reserved exclusively for your project. Stage 1 – Design (if you don't already have one) - $250 per design day (same rate as tattooing). - At the end of each design day, you’ll receive sketches/concepts to review. - Most designs are accepted after one round. - Minimal changes (e.g., removing certain motifs) are free. - Major changes (e.g., adding complex new elements) require an additional design day (+$250). Payment for design days is required upfront. Stage 2 – Tattooing - $250 per session (same price for all styles, black & grey or color). - Each session lasts up to 6 hours (with breaks included). - Larger pieces usually take multiple sessions. - I can only give you a rough estimate upfront, as the exact number of sessions depends on: 1. How well your skin holds ink (easiest to predict after our first session) 2. Your pain threshold / How long you’re comfortable sitting 3. Complexity of the piece (Detail, color, realism, etc...)

How do I book an appointment?

At the bottom of the page, you’ll find my online booking form. Please read it carefully and fill it out completely. Once I review your request, I’ll contact you via email to arrange a date that works best. I begin tattoo sessions at 1:00 PM, and the latest I take new clients is 5:00 PM.

Where do you work?

I work from a private home studio. For privacy reasons, I don’t share the address publicly. You’ll receive the full address and details in your confirmation email once your booking is secured.

Can I bring a friend or a pet?

For the sake of focus, I do not allow friends, partners, pets, or guests during tattoo sessions. Thank you for understanding and respecting this policy.

How long is the waiting period?

I’m currently in a special chapter of my life — pregnancy — which makes wait times harder to predict. Once you’ve submitted a filled-out application form, I’ll be transparent about the current waiting time and let you know what to expect.

What should I do before the visit?

Please make sure to: - Read my Policy at the bottom of the page. - Eat a proper meal beforehand so you don’t get lightheaded. - Stay hydrated and get a good night’s rest. - Avoid alcohol, drugs, or blood thinners (like aspirin) 24 hours before your appointment. - Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. - Moisturize your skin in the days leading up to your appointment, but not on the day itself. - Make sure you are not pregnant or breast feeding.

Do you do cover-ups or touch-ups?

Yes, I do both — but I handle them on a case-by-case basis. For cover-ups, please include clear photos of your existing tattoo in your application so I can determine what’s possible. Keep in mind that covering old ink often requires multiple sessions, and I don’t tattoo skin-tone color over old ink, as that method doesn’t work. Touch-ups are available if needed, but they are not free. Proper aftercare is the best way to ensure your tattoo heals well and lasts beautifully.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance so I can adjust my calendar. Deposits and design fees are non-refundable but can be transferred to your new date. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or don’t show up, you’ll lose your deposit and will need to pay a new deposit fee to book your next appointment.

How should I care for my tattoo afterward?

Proper aftercare is crucial for healing: - I always apply second skin after your session. Keep it on for the recommended time (usually 3–5 days) unless it becomes uncomfortable or leaks. Remove it gently under a warm shower. - Once the second skin is off, wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, then pat dry. - Apply a thin layer of healing ointment as instructed. - Avoid soaking (pools, hot tubs, baths) and direct sun exposure until fully healed. - Don’t scratch or pick at scabs — let your skin heal naturally. - Please send me pictures via instagram or e-mail of the healing process, especially the finally healed tattoo over the upcoming months, even years. It helps improve my skill greatly. Your tattoo should heal in about 2–3 weeks, with full settling after a month. To help you along the way, you’ll also receive a goody bag with aftercare essentials and a reminder of all the good habits to follow. If you have any concerns during healing, feel free to reach out
